Pearse Professionals has partnered exclusively with an elite, boutique Investment Management firm who are looking for an ambitious Finance Director in a newly created role, as they continue to scale operations. Now managing approximately £500m in assets, they’ve built a high performance team of experts with background from leading, global financial institutions.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious investment firm at an exciting stage of its growth and to play a key role in shaping the finance function and direction of the business. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop into a future CFO as the firm continues to scale.
Responsibilities
Implement world class finance processes and systems
Oversee their accounting and financial reporting
Manage fund finance processes, including liaising with external administrators and auditors
Driving improvements in financial reporting, systems and controls
Support with strategic finance initiatives and projects as the business scales
Providing financial insight and analysis to support commercial decision making
Acting as key finance partner to senior stakeholders across the business
Presenting key financial reports to the Board and senior leadership
Work closely with tax advisors to ensure tax compliance
Continuous process improvement and automation to enable the business to scale
Experience
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Experience in investment management, hedge funds or financial services
Strong analytical ability with a commercial mindset
Excellent communicator with the ability to present well both internally and externally
Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in across Finance
