Operating in a competitive and fast changing market, the company is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join the team. This role will play a key part in providing financial insight, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving performance across the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Business Partner will work closely with operational leaders and senior stakeholders, with responsibilities including:

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to business units, providing financial insight and challenge to support decision making

  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process for designated areas, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategy

  • Using financial and non financial KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and highlight risks or opportunities

  • Preparing high quality management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance for decision making

  • Supporting the delivery of financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and internal controls

  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to support strategic projects and commercial initiatives

  • Reviewing and improving processes to ensure financial reporting is accurate, efficient, and repeatable

  • Analysing key operational and financial data to drive cost control, efficiency, and profitability

  • Partnering with operational teams to ensure new initiatives are commercially sound and deliver sustainable value

  • Driving the use of systems and technology to enhance reporting, analysis, and decision making

Requirements:

We’re looking for a commercially focused finance professional who can combine strong analytical skills with the ability to build influence and credibility across the business. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar commercially focused finance role

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; ERP or financial systems experience is an advantage

  • The ability to translate financial and operational data into clear insights for non finance stakeholders

  • A passion for improving processes and leveraging systems to drive better outcomes

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively

  • An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
