Overview:

A leading PE-backed data infrastructure business is seeking an Interim Project Accountant to manage the end to end finance processes for its asset-holding entities across the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will work closely with the UK Finance Manager and play a critical role in delivering accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance while supporting strategic decision making.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager in overseeing SPV entities across the region

  • Review monthly results in line with group policies and reporting timelines

  • Perform core accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close

  • Deliver monthly variance and trend analysis for regional reporting

  • Manage year-end processes, including preparation of statutory accounts and audit completion within strict deadlines

  • Collaborate with tax, treasury, and other departments on monthly draws, cash management, and regulatory filings

  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy

  • Act as the primary finance point of contact for SPVs, ensuring visibility across group functions


Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA)

  • 3+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within real assets or infrastructure

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements

  • Proactive, self motivated, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
