Overview:
A leading PE-backed data infrastructure business is seeking an Interim Project Accountant to manage the end to end finance processes for its asset-holding entities across the EMEA region.
The successful candidate will work closely with the UK Finance Manager and play a critical role in delivering accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance while supporting strategic decision making.
Role & Responsibilities:
Support the Finance Manager in overseeing SPV entities across the region
Review monthly results in line with group policies and reporting timelines
Perform core accounting functions, including reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close
Deliver monthly variance and trend analysis for regional reporting
Manage year-end processes, including preparation of statutory accounts and audit completion within strict deadlines
Collaborate with tax, treasury, and other departments on monthly draws, cash management, and regulatory filings
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy
Act as the primary finance point of contact for SPVs, ensuring visibility across group functions
Candidate Profile:
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA)
3+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within real assets or infrastructure
Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements
Proactive, self motivated, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
