Overview
Pearse Professionals are supporting a leading European private equity firm to identify an experienced Interim Manager for a Finance Transformation engagement within a portfolio company in Germany.
This is a hands on operational role. The business has existing finance leadership in place - what is needed is a strong interim professional to work alongside the incumbent CFO to rapidly build the reporting infrastructure, management information framework and operational KPIs required to deliver on the investor's value creation plan.
The Engagement
Conduct a rapid diagnostic of the current finance function and reporting outputs
Design and implement a management reporting framework to private equity standard
Restructure budgeting, forecasting and cash flow visibility processes
Develop and embed operational KPIs in collaboration with senior management
Identify and remediate control weaknesses and process inefficiencies
Ensure the finance function is structured and ready for the next phase of growth
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience within PE-backed businesses - you understand the pace, reporting standards and value creation mindset of private equity ownership
Operating at Interim Manager level with a clear Finance Transformation track record
Experienced in businesses of comparable scale - €100m revenue business
Hands-on and collaborative
German essential
