Overview
Pearse Professionals are supporting a PE-backed business in looking for an experienced M&A Associate Director to join on a fixed term basis and support the execution of acquisitions across the group. This is a hands-on role sitting at the heart of the deal team, managing transactions from offer stage through to completion while coaching and developing junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of financial due diligence, including coaching junior team members and reviewing analysis, forecasts and FDD reports
Manage deal timelines, liaising with internal teams and vendors to ensure milestones are met
Support delivery of valuations, offer letters and heads of terms across live transactions
Act as a key point of contact for vendors during due diligence, managing expectations and keeping them informed
Provide clear, constructive feedback to junior team members to support their technical development
What we’re looking for:
Significant experience leading or reviewing financial due diligence as part of M&A transactions
Ideally background in or exposure to Financial or professional Services businesses
Strong coaching and mentoring capability with experience reviewing and developing junior team members
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a remote environment
Advanced Excel skills with experience reviewing complex financial models and spreadsheets
