Overview
Pearse Professionals are supporting a private business based in seeking a hands on Interim Financial Controller to support a significant finance transformation programme following a recent de-merger.
This is a critical assignment requiring an experienced operator who can stabilise the finance function, clear a backlog of priority projects, and rebuild core processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Recreate the TopCo structure post de-merger
Establish core statutory and operational foundations (including VAT registration and bank account set-up)
Clear a backlog of finance projects
Redesign and strengthen weak Record to Report (R2R) and Order to Cash (O2C) processes
Support and help drive an ERP system implementation
Complete year end accounts within the existing accounting system
Provide hands on financial control and day to day operational leadership
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as an Interim Financial Controller or senior finance lead in SME/mid sized environments
Strong accounting background with experience delivering year end accounts
Demonstrable experience improving R2R and O2C processes
ERP implementation exposure
Comfortable operating at both strategic and transactional levels
Pragmatic, delivery focused, and able to work autonomously in a change heavy environment
