Overview
Pearse Professionals are seeking an experienced Fund Accountant / Private Credit professional for a senior interim / director-level assignment based in London (hybrid). This is a contract role, working closely with portfolio management and investment teams on private credit and infrastructure debt strategies.
The role will involve full fund controllership: overseeing multi-currency fund operations, capital calls and distributions, NAV and financial statement reporting, investor reporting, management and performance fees, and liaising with TPAs and service providers. The interim will also support regulatory reporting, audits, and process improvements across the fund finance function.
Requirements
Significant experience in private credit or infrastructure debt fund accounting / fund finance
Strong understanding of fund legal documents, multi-currency structures, equalisation, hedging, and new fund launches
Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience from a top-tier accountancy background
Proven ability to manage complex fund operations, investor reporting, and service provider relationships
Highly proficient in Excel, Power BI, data analysis, and automation tools
Proactive, senior professional capable of working independently in a fast-growing, high-performing environment
Contract Details:
Day rate: up to £800/day
Duration: 9-12 months (flexible)
