Pearse Professionals are delighted to be partnered with an innovative, high growth private equity backed technology business, currently seeking a Senior Management Accountant on a remote basis.
With recent private equity backing and fully immersed in the software and digital transformation space, this business are known for its exceptional solutions across AI, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure and application development.
Role & Responsibilities:
As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering all aspects of the business management reporting, including cost control, cash flow management, variance analysis, preparation of the monthly management accounts. You’ll also provide accurate and timely financial information.
This individual will lead the finance transactional processing function, overseeing income, billing, cashbook, and accounts payable, with ultimate responsibility for maintaining an accurate and complete trial balance.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Deliver robust management accounting including cost management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Oversee transactional finance operations, ensuring accuracy across income, billing, cashbook, and accounts payable.
Maintain and review the financial ledgers, ensuring all necessary accounting entries are made to support recoverability and accuracy.
Provide a suite of standardised management reports and dashboards to support cost monitoring and business insight.
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, including automation, standardisation, and productivity enhancements.
Cost Management: Analyse and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
Significant post-qualification experience in management accounting.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting.
Experience with financial systems and automation tools.
Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) required.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
Ability to challenge and support the complexities of a fast-paced, growing organisation.
