As part of their continued growth strategy and investment in their digital assets business, they’re looking for an Operations Specialist for the US, to help scale and optimise daily trading operations for crypto in a rapidly growing and evolving business.
The Role
As the Operations Specialist for crypto in the US, you will work extremely closely with Trading, Finance and external counterparties to ensure smooth running of settlements, reconciliations and operations workflows. This is both a hands-on operational position and a strategic role responsible for optimisation and improvement and is an excellent opportunity for somebody with strong professional crypto experience to join a high performance environment in a rapidly growing area of one of the leading trading firms in the world.
Responsibilities
Manage daily crypto trade settlements, coordinating with both internal teams and external counterparties to ensure timely and accurate processing
Perform trade and settlement reconciliations across the full post-trade lifecycle, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required
Monitor and track digital asset inventory levels, partnering closely with Trading and Finance teams to support upcoming settlement obligations
Manage the whitelisting of crypto wallet addresses
Support broader banking operations, including onboarding new beneficiaries, monitoring payment cut-off times and managing banking-related processes
Assist with the collection, organisation and maintenance of external counterparty and trade-related operational data
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and mitigate risk
Work closely with internal stakeholders to help improve operational workflows to allow the business to scale
Experience
Previous experience within crypto operations (ideally with exposure to settlements)
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
High attention to detail
Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning
Strong interest in fintech/digital assets
Advanced Excel skills
