Overview
Fund Controller | Private Credit Fund – Senior Associate
Pearse have partnered with a global investment manager to hire a Fund Controller (Senior Associate) into their Private Investment Fund Finance team in London. This is an opportunity to join a high growth area of the business, supporting private credit and infrastructure debt strategies that are performing exceptionally well.
This position offers genuine exposure to portfolio management and investment teams, alongside end-to-end ownership of complex fund structures.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day fund oversight model, financial and fund accounting
Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators, including review of monthly and quarterly outputs
Oversee cash forecasting, liquidity management, investment activity, and fund expenses
Oversee quarterly NAV reporting package and its supporting schedules
Own the capital call and distribution process, including review of notices and supporting schedules
Lead fund close and multi-currency equalisation processes
Manage credit and leverage facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, and covenant reporting
Oversee management and performance fee calculations
Review and recalculate fund performance metrics (IRRs, multiples) at fund and asset level
Produce and review investor reporting, including portfolio and ad-hoc analysis
Partner closely with the investment team on deal funding and execution
Support audits, regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
Contribute to process improvement initiatives across fund oversight, controls, and reporting
Experience
Fully qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm experience a bonus
Exposure to private credit or infrastructure debt preferred
Strong Excel skills, with experience in Power BI, data analysis or automation desirable
Understanding of multi-currency equalisation
Experience with closed-end funds from fund management, administration or audit
Ambitious with a desire to continue learning
