FP&A Manager | Specialist Private Credit Provider

Role & Responsibilities

This role will be key in leading on financial planning and analysis, supporting with financial reporting and working closely with their CFO (who this position reports to), wider leadership team, and investors. The role works across many aspects of finance, ensuring robust financial reporting and insightful analytics to support strategic decision making.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking to deepen their experience in FP&A and commercial finance, within a rapidly growing business. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to hedge fund backers, and play an integral role in shaping their financial insights and growth story.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Forecasting

  • Budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning processes.

  • Monitor deal performance and variance analysis versus underwrite assumptions.

  • Partner with teams across the business (portfolio management, underwriters) to help produce deal cash flow forecasts and return projections.

  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support commercial and strategic decision making.

  • Contribute to the development of financial forecasting and pricing models.


Reporting

  • Support the month-end close process in collaborations with Financial Control and Treasury teams.

  • Work closely with Financial Control and Treasury, and the CFO to help produce key reporting deliverables including board packs and investor reporting.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of financial and operational reporting across the organisation.


Commercial Finance & Analysis

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment, portfolio, and corporate-level analysis.

  • Help to refine internal reporting tools, dashboard and analytical frameworks.

Continuous Improvement & Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Identify and execute on opportunities to enhance processes, reporting systems, and analytical tools.

  • Support wider finance initiatives, including automation, system upgrades, and process standardisation.

  • Support strategy and growth initiatives of the firm, including market analysis.

Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (Big 4 or Top 10)

  • Previous experience across FP&A, management accounting, transaction advisory or corporate finance

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skillset

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends

  • Previous experience in financial services or lending a bonus but not essential

  • Communication skills with an ability to present complex financial information to senior stakeholders

  • Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning
