We’ve partnered with a high growth, globally distributed fintech business to secure a Financial Controller to join their expanding finance function.

The Role
As a key member of the finance leadership team, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the accuracy and reliability of the company’s financial reporting. You will manage the end to end production and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control:
Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements (IFRS & GAAP), ensuring accuracy and completeness
Manage core accounting activities, including month-end and year-end close processes, to support timely reporting
Develop and maintain effective internal controls to protect assets and ensure adherence to financial policies
Regulatory & Audit Oversight:
Take ownership of regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring submissions are accurate and delivered on schedule
Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, coordinating the audit process from planning through completion
Oversee tax compliance and planning, including considerations related to digital assets
Systems & Process Enhancement:
Support ongoing improvements in financial processes and systems, utilising NetSuite to strengthen reporting and efficiency
Experience
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred)
Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Demonstrated experience in financial and regulatory reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
Experience within fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred
Advanced Excel skills
