Pearse are excited to have been retained by a pioneering global trading firm to bring on board a Crypto Mid Office Associate to join their growing team. Renowned for their commitment to innovation and operating across multiple regions, they blend cutting edge technology with deep market expertise to provide liquidity to both traditional and crypto markets.
As part of their continued growth strategy in this area of the business, they’re looking for somebody to join their Middle Office team, to support the scale and optimisation of post-trade operations in a rapidly growing and evolving business.
Role & Responsibilities
As the Middle Office Associate in digital assets, you will work extremely closely with an experienced Crypto Mid Office Lead with exposure to their CFO and various other functions, in a high performing team responsible for the smooth execution of post trade processes in a fast paced environment.
Provide day-to-day operational support for the Crypto Mid Office activities
Identify, investigate and resolve trade, position and cash breaks in close collaboration with the Trading teams
Responsible for daily P&L substantiation and reconciliation
Management and reconciliation of crypto loans
Partner with Finance on month-end activities, including cash flow reconciliation and accounting
Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement tools and automation that will improve operational precision and allow the business to scale
Requirements
Previous experience in Mid Office / Product Control teams in a financial services business
Strong understanding of trade and position reconciliations and P&L substantiation
Ability to optimise and improve processes
Excellent communication skills with an ability to work well with various functions (finance, trading, tech, risk)
Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue learning
Strong interest in digital assets/crypto
