Overview:

Pearse Professionals are working with a leading Property organisation in seeking a Head of Financial Business Partnering to join on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial planning, forecasting and management accounting processes, covering Income & Expenditure, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.

Reporting into the Finance Director you will lead a team of business partners and management accountants to drive the monthly management accounting cycle and deliver insights to senior leadership.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Leading management reporting, providing variance analysis and insights to the Executive team and Board

  • Driving a rolling 12-month forecast process to highlight key drivers, risks and opportunities

  • Leading the annual budgeting cycle, improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes

  • Supporting Business Partners with accessible, joined-up data and actionable insights

  • Driving finance systems developments as part of a wider finance transformation programme (including Workday)

  • Managing and developing a high-performing team with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement


The Ideal Candidate:

You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in senior management accounting and finance business partnering within a fast-paced, commercial organisation. You will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management account preparation, including advanced reporting and analysis skills

  • Experience of financial investment appraisals

  • Demonstrable track record of senior stakeholder engagement, including Executive Directors and Boards

  • Previous experience developing and managing a small team in a change environment

  • Excellent numeracy and IT skills, including Excel and financial systems
