Overview

Pearse Professionals are supporting a high growth, PE-backed Insur-tech business operating business seeking an Interim Finance Manager (Insurance) on a contract basis to support the finance team during a busy period.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the monthly insurance premium bordereaux, typically requiring focused input during the first 4–5 days of each month

  • Review, improvement and optimisation of bordereaux and related finance processes, drawing on prior best practice

  • Acting as a key finance contact for insurers, handling queries on an ad-hoc basis

  • Preparation and review of insurance-related balance sheet reconciliations

  • Supporting month-end activities and providing general Finance Manager-level support to the wider team as required


Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in an insurance, insurtech or financial services environment

  • Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills

  • Comfortable taking ownership of defined processes in a fast-paced, scaling business

  • Hands-on, adaptable, and able to support beyond a narrow remit
