Overview
Pearse Professionals are supporting a high growth, PE-backed Insur-tech business operating business seeking an Interim Finance Manager (Insurance) on a contract basis to support the finance team during a busy period.
Role & Responsibilities
Ownership of the monthly insurance premium bordereaux, typically requiring focused input during the first 4–5 days of each month
Review, improvement and optimisation of bordereaux and related finance processes, drawing on prior best practice
Acting as a key finance contact for insurers, handling queries on an ad-hoc basis
Preparation and review of insurance-related balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting month-end activities and providing general Finance Manager-level support to the wider team as required
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in an insurance, insurtech or financial services environment
Strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills
Comfortable taking ownership of defined processes in a fast-paced, scaling business
Hands-on, adaptable, and able to support beyond a narrow remit
