Overview
We are working with a private equity–backed business services group executing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy across the UK. The company has completed several successful acquisitions and is now seeking a interim Corporate Development Consultant to support the continued expansion of the platform.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Development Director and working closely with the CEO and investors, this role will play a key part in deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and integration planning. The successful candidate will have a strong M&A toolkit, commercial mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end M&A process from origination through to deal execution.
Prepare valuation models, investment cases, and board materials.
Coordinate due diligence and manage advisors across legal, financial, and tax streams.
Contribute to post-deal integration planning and performance tracking.
Build relationships with target owners, advisors, and investors.
Ideal Candidate
Background in corporate finance, M&A advisory, or corporate development.
Experience in business services, facilities management, compliance, or related sectors preferred.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-starter comfortable operating in a PE-backed, fast-growth environment.
